The Last Man

Clint Mansell came to film music from Pop Will Eat Itself, and has scored most of Darren Aronofsky's films. His writing leans on repetition and slow accumulation rather than themes, usually with the Kronos Quartet or Mogwai involved.

He is best known for Lux Aeterna from Requiem for a Dream, which has been recycled by trailer houses so thoroughly that the film it belongs to is almost incidental.
