Loreena McKennitt's wordless vocal piece, written for a Canadian documentary before appearing on The Visit in 1991. Évora is in Portugal, and the tune leans toward fado and the eastern Mediterranean rather than anything Argentine, despite the title.

McKennitt built her career independently, selling records from a stall at folk festivals before any label was involved.
