La bohème

Aznavour's 1965 song about painters in Montmartre who were young and cold and happy, and the narrator returning years later to find the whole quarter rebuilt and unrecognisable.

The structure does the work: verse after verse of remembered detail, then the flat admission at the end that none of it is there any more.
